The Ludwig Chamber Players (LCP) is a leading Ensemble for music from the classical period to music of today. Be inspired by our featured programs or our music and video clips.
The first rehearsal of the Ludwig Chamber Players took place in spring 2013. The musicians were preparing their first concert at the prestigious Tokyo Spring festival. After a few bars of the Septet from L. v. Beethoven there was an overwhelming desire for a continued collaboration. The following concerts in Tokyo and Osaka were euphorically received by the audience. The main repertoire of the award-winning soloist ensemble is the chamber music for mixed strings and wind instruments of the 18th and 19thCentury. Also works of contemporary composers find their way into LCP´s Programs.
